Mula Nakshatra

Mula means 'root' - this nakshatra is located at the galactic center, the cosmic root of our galaxy. Ruled by Nirriti (or Alakshmi), the goddess of dissolution, Mula natives have the power to destroy illusions and get to the root of matters. Nirriti represents the necessary dissolution that precedes recreation. Mula natives often experience foundational destruction in their lives - loss of roots, family disruption, or identity crises. These experiences, while painful, serve to uproot false identifications. Their spiritual path involves surrendering to Kali/Nirriti, allowing what is false to be destroyed so truth can emerge. Kali worship is particularly powerful for them.
